Rabbits
Good evening. Today, I will be sharing about rabbits. Though I do not own any, I still have a love for these small creatures. (This is extremely off topic, but I do feel like I am more reserved and not as loud here, in comparison to myself when outside.)
Rabbits are prey animals, and thus get very frightened if you are to pick them up or harass them. Do not fret if a rabbit may not warm up to you immediately. It takes time for them to get close to you. Please respect their personal space as well.
I have heard that rabbits enjoy listening to music. However, the music played cannot be overbearingly loud as the rabbit may get stressed. This means I will be unable to play my dizi if I get a rabbit. However, if I pick up the guqin in future, I may be able to play songs for my rabbit (if I decide to get one).
Though I love all types of rabbits, I would prefer to get one white and one black rabbit. I would name them Bunji and Bunxian respectively. In my mind, Bunji would be the quieter, less active one while Bunxian would be eager to play. Bunji is calm and likes to watch while Bunxian is curious and likes to be where all the action is. Despite their differences, Bunji and Bunxian are still able to make peace and find comfort in each other (and perhaps they could have an adopted son named Bunyuan). I am rambling. Here are a few questions that you can answer.
Do you like rabbits? Why or why not?
How many rabbits would you like to keep?
What would you name your rabbit(s)?
I would also like to add that a rabbit's diet consists of mostly hay. Do not feed your rabbit too many treats. Treats include but are not limited to fruits and 'sweet' vegetables (like carrots). Take care of your rabbit well, and treat it with care. Rabbits love to be pet and cuddled (if they like the person providing these pets and cuddles) so please do not leave your rabbit unattended for too long.
