i'm so sad that i can't find a rolling pin emoji. this just emphasizes my point about discrimination of emojis!
so,, what's with the title? glad you asked! (you probably didn't and don't want to know but i'm just going to be extra and tell you anyway!) i made brownies today! it's kind of surprising because i'm really bad at cooking and stuff. i'm so bad at cooking that my fce partner demoted me to washing dishes after i failed at chopping tomatoes and onions 😔
usually if i want brownies, i ask my mom but she'd tell me to do it myself 😔 it took me only 10 minutes to make including 1 minute 20 seconds in the microwave lmao. i used a mug recipe which is only one serving so that's why it was so short. i was highly doubting myself when it was in the microwave and after i took it out because it didn't smell all that great. it smelled like flour but when i tasted it, it was great! i put lots of sprinkles because why not? make it look like a rAINBOW 🌈
it was so sweet and my brother asked me "DID YOU NOT PUT SUGAR" hhh is 2 table spoons of sugar not enough for you? that ungrateful tomato 🍅😔 can't believe that i'm related to him (if you like tomatoes, i apologise. tomatoes do not deserve to be compared to him) [i would have said capsicum but i can't find a capsicum emoji] it's only 1 serving - i had 1/4, my parents had 1/4 and my brother had 1/2 tsktsk.
i showed 10 people my baking and so far 6 have seen. all 6 have asked me what i made/told me it looks bad. hhhh. i'm friends with such mean people, smh.
one very important thing i've learnt is that steam is hot! ♨️ when i realised, it was too late lmao. all the P6 science gone to waste 😔 in case you never knew, steam is hot! i hope you don't make the same mistake as me. i think all the problems i've had with heat had made me hot ;D when i was 6, my grandmother told me not to touch the stove because she just finished cooking but i still went to touch. moral of the story: curiosity burns. but look at me now, i'm so hot :D
the recipe said to put 2/1/2 tablespoons of something (i forgot what and i'm lazy to check) but i was lazy to measure 1/2 tbsp so i was wondering if 1/2 tbsp = 1 tsp. i asked my friends and it turns out that 1 tsp is 5 ml and 1 tbsp is 15 ml. which means 1 tsp is 1/3 of 1 tbsp! close enough.
history-geography ipt is so hard. to think that it seemed so easy at first. i'm complaining. sorry about that.
also, i'm curious. does anyone eat raw cookie dough? 🍪 it tastes as good as the baked ones omg. last year, i made it (more like my mom did but i gave moral support!!) and i kept eating the raw cookie dough. apparently, it's unhealthy because you can get e.coli (vedha thought i was talking about broccoli) and that can become fatal BUT it's usually mild! awww, are y'all sad that you can't get rid of me? not yet you can! unless ... you're planning my murder. 😔 maybe i'm just strong. naika and i have never sat out before and we're the only ones!! 🍻 i think we should give out an award to our juniors. "the rachel and naika award of never sitting out before"!! 🎖️🏅(it's 11 11)
